Despite it looking like two different wood types, Board No. 2022 is made from a stunning slab of Hickory. The board features two live edges facing inward to create a river center section, filled with turquoise epoxy (food-safe). To make it a little extra unique, I chose to inlay a few dried (but real) flowers. And just for fun, this board has an extended handle with the hole at one end to provide a convenient way to pick-up or hang the board for display.

The board measures 17 x 7 inches in diameter and is approximately 1 inch thick. Like all boards at The Kustom Woodshop, this board is hand-sanded and finished with food-safe mineral oil before being hand-buffed with bees wax.
