Board No. 1935 is an End Grain (also referred to as Butcher Block) that I had a lot of fun creating. My eyes may still be a little crossed after working on this for so long. I chose to use Walnut (darkest wood in main square), Maple (lightest) and Cherry to create the pattern that you'll find yourself wanting to stare at and try to figure out.

The board measures 12 x 9.5 inches and is approximately 1.5 inches thick. To make it easy for you to pickup and carry around, I cut finger grips into the short ends of the board. Like all boards at The Kustom Woodshop, this board was finished by hand and is easy to maintain at home. First, we applied food-grade mineral oil and then hand-buffed the board with bees wax.
